Universal dimmers are designed for dimming resistive (light bulbs, halogen lamps), capacitive (electronic transformers, LED drivers), inductive (wound transformers, mostly for low-voltage halogen lamps 12-24 V - now little used), ESL (dimmable savings) up to LED load - nowadays the most popular. The dimmers are in the BOX version (for mounting in the installation box or directly in the luminaire, with a maximum output of 160 VA) or MODULE (from 200 VA in a 1-module to 2000 VA in a 6-module). |
